Tim Jackman

Tim Jackman was born and raised in Fayette, the son of Willis (Pee Wee) and Helen Jackman. He attended the Fayette RIII public schools and is a 1977 graduate. Following that he enrolled at Central Methodist College (now University) and graduated in 1981, with a bachelor's degree in business administration.

Tim's career in the insurance industry spans over 40 years. For 14 of those years he worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance in four different cities with his most recent assignment as the Indiana State Claims Manager, Indianapolis, IN. He was fortunate enough to return to MO in 1995, working for Missouri Employers Mutual, a newly created start-up company located in Columbia. Tim has held various executive-level positions since 1997 with MEM. Currently, he is President and CEO, Previsor Insurance Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of MEM providing their other states coverage.

Tim is very active in several Fayette community organizations including coordinator of the annual Fayette Juneteenth celebration and Howard County Historic Museum. In addition, he serves on various other boards. Tim resides in Fayette with his wife, Valerie and two sons, Jonathan and Chase.
