By-Laws of the Howard County Missouri Genealogical Society: HCGS BY-LAWS
The HCGS maintains the Glenn and Betty Collier Genealogy Room located in the Fayette, MO public library.We are a Missouri non-profit volunteer organization under 501(c)(3). The Howard County Genealogy Society provides Genealogy Help to the public on most Friday afternoons from 1 to 4 pm unless it is a Holiday or we are experiencing inclement weather.The Center has records, books of obituaries and other materials of interest to genealogists. Requests for genealogy research may be sent to the library by postal mail or emailed to Send Email hcgsrequest@gmail.com .
Our Research Director is happy to provide simple lookups. More detailed searches can be done with arranged fees.For a summary of base charges for research, copying, etc. including magnetic materials - Click HERE.
You are invited to support the HCGS by becoming a member. Dues are $12.00 per year.

Dues statements are sent to current members in September. New members & current members may mail their dues payment check to the library address listed below. Make your checks payable to Howard County Genealogical Society or just HCGS. NOTE: Check the ROSTER to determine your paid thru year.
